Morag Brown and Lewis Powell-Reid
The duo released their debut album, ‘Auld Springs New’, in 2024, undertaking an album launch tour in the latter half of 2024.
Jiginaboot Ceilidh Band
Formed in 2011, Jiginaboot Ceilidh Band are a 3/4 piece ceilidh band that plays for ceilidhs, birthday parties and weddings across southern Scotland and occasionally in northern England and the Highlands. In July 2024 they played in Warsaw, Poland.
Matt Seattle Band
Formed in 2008, the band focuses on innovative interpretations of border piping repertoire, from both traditional sources from the 18th century, as well as from the band’s prolific composer and founder, Matt Seattle. Recent performances have included Seattle’s ‘Gala Water Suite’ in 2024, comprising 14 original compositions based on placenames mentioned in the Burns song, ‘Braw, Braw, Lads’.
